Sustainable Northeast Seattle will hold their 3rd Annual Hands-On Skills Workshops on Saturday, February 9, from 10:00 am through 5:00 pm at the Meadowbrook Community Center, 10517 35th Ave. NE, and the Ravenna Eckstein Community Center, 6536 Ravenna Ave. NE. A shuttle will run between the two locations.

There is a cost: $15 advance registration https://class.seattle.gov/parks/Start/Start.asp (event barcode 96781) and later $20 at the door
What will the workshops cover:
- food preservation, gluten-free & regular baking;
- basic plumbing and electrical repairs;
- tool sharpening;
- simple bike maintenance;
- making lotions and many others.
