The Seattle City Government is hosting a Seattle City Open House at City Hall on Saturday, April 6, from 10:00 am through 2:00 pm in the main lobby area, enter via 5th Avenue – or climb the stairs from 4th Avenue up to the lobby area.
Mayor Michael McGinn, City Attorney Pete Holmes, and City Council Members Mike O’Brien, Bruce Harrell, Jean Godden, Tom Rasmussen, Tim Burgess, Nick Licata, Sally Burgess, Richard Conlin, and Council President Sally Clark will all be on hand to greet and talk with citizens.
There will also be acrobatic performances by SANCA at 11:00 am, and the Massive Monkeys Dance Crew at 12:00 noon.
Food Trucks will also be parked around City Hall during the Open House time and there will be dogs and other critters for adoption.
Seattle City Government departments will also have representatives on hand to discuss issues or simply to talk. There will also be a low-income utility workshop for those having trouble paying their Seattle Public Utilities, Seattle City Light, Puget Sound Energy or other utility bills.
