September’s Community Forum: After Peak Oil: How Do We Transition?

After Oil: How do we Transition?

It’s been well documented that the world is quickly running out of oil.

But what happens after the oil is gone?

Planning for this future is what “Transition” is all about. We’ll be joined by two local leaders on the subject, Derik Andreoli, founder of Energy Transitions Northwest and Leo Brodie of Sustainable Northeast Seattle for a discussion about Transition and Peak Oil.

Learn more about Peak Oil and its potential impact on cities, transportation and the economy and what is or is not being done locally to address these issues.

Join Sustainable West Seattle Monday, September 20, for this months’ Community Forum in the Senior Center of West Seattle, 4217 SW Oregon St. (on the south side or Oregon immediately east of California Avenue SW intersection).  Come at 6:30 pm to socialize, the forum starts at 7:00 pm.

    Hello,
I was sorry to miss the discussion last week. I was wondering if it was going to be held again soon (if not locally then elsewhere in Seattle?) or if there might be a transscript or video posted on the website.
    Regards,
    Michael
