City Sets July Walk-Bike-Ride Challenge Month

The city of Seattle is excited to announce a new challenge. Register today and maximize your opportunities to win great prizes.

Walk, bike and ride more to work, shop and play from July 4 to July 31.

The Mayor’s Office invites people to walk, bike, and ride more to work, play, or shop and cut two car trips a week during the month of July. If you participate, you’ll be entered to win great prizes:

  • $1,500 electric bike (provided by e-Moto and REI)
  • One night stay provided by Pan Pacific Hotel, South Lake Union
  • $250 REI gift certificate
  • Free Zipcar membership and $100 of free usage provided by Zipcar ($175 value)
  • Dinner for two provided by The Georgian in the Fairmont Olympic Hotel.

The Challenge is part of Mayor Mike McGinn’s Walk Bike Ride Initiative to make walking, biking and riding transit the easiest ways to get around Seattle.
