Town Hall Meeting @ Alki for Water Taxi

Join the King County Water Taxi District for a Town Hall meeting at Alki Community Center.

  • Learn about the West Seattle Water Taxi and King County Ferry District
  • Meet your District King County Councilmember and Ferry District Chair, Jan Drago
  • Provide feedback on the Water Taxi and Shuttle service

Wednesday, June 9th, 7:00 p.m.  to 8:00 p.m. at the Alki Community Center, 5817 SW Stevens Street.

Nearly a century ago a “Mosquito Fleet” of small boats linked the communities that ring Lake Washington and Puget Sound. These vessels provided vital transportation connections.

In April 2007, the King County Ferry District (KCFD) was created to expand transportation options through water taxi services. King County Council members are the Ferry District Board of Supervisors.
