The Duwamish Longhouse & Cultural Center will celebrate its one year anniversary this Saturday, January 30 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. Come hear about the past years’ events and upcoming ones as well as the many visitors to the longhouse. The history of the tribe will be portrayed in the film “Princess Angeline” by Upstream Productions at 1:00 pm and 4:oo pm. Princess Angeline was Chief Sealth’s oldest daughter. There will be “free” refreshments and a commemorative t-shirt, first come first served.
