The Transit Riders Union (of Metropolitan Puget Sound) last month invited all candidates running for legislative and executive offices in King County and the City of Seattle to respond to the concerns of transit riders. TRU recently received the candidate responses and have posted them on the Transit Riders website at:

Transit is an important element in having a lower carbon footprint, it is an element of being a more sustainable community, and it is an element which is dear to West Seattleites – all four City Council candidates have responded as have candidates for Seattle Mayor and King County Executive. Read these and be better informed on the candidates.
